Over the past three months, we’ve helped local authorities and NHS partners with their immediate response to the COVID-19 crisis. As we begin to understand the longer term implications of the pandemic, we wanted to share what we’ve been doing and what we’ve learnt.

We’re now supporting public sector institutions to reimagine future approaches to public service delivery. Through new operating and organising models to build resilient, regenerative communities, we want to help you shape the future of your places.

What we've done

Designing a shielding and wider early help service with Camden Council

We worked with Camden Council to design a new shielding service, using digital/tech to create a single view of resident needs to foster collaboration in response to COVID-19. This has supported truly multidisciplinary working across services, the Voluntary Community Sector and the local community to provide essentials and support to people at the earliest possible opportunity.

Supporting recovery through a community and asset driven response in Trafford and North East Lincolnshire

We’re supporting Trafford and North East Lincolnshire councils to continue council-wide modernisation programmes, building on the community and asset based approaches that have enabled them to meet the needs of residents in response to COVID-19. This work has included using our recent Recovery Maturity Assessment approach to develop recovery recommendations.

Developing tools to track and monitor PPE levels for East London Health and Care Partnership

Working with East London Health and Care Partnership, we developed a digital solution to collecting, monitoring and managing personal protective equipment stock levels for both acute and community care providers.

Digital solution to understand single view of needs and coordinate response

Beacon is a multi-agency product that creates a single, unified view of all COVID-19 related requests and wider community needs that have come into councils and their voluntary sector partners, enabling a joined-up, effective and efficient response. It has been made fully open source and reusable.
